"The
new year brings with it the possibility of reorganizing one's life, fixing
mistakes, doing things differently, this promise of a 'new beginning' is
crucial to well-being and mental health." Said Chitra Balasubramaniam,

India.SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation
School students in 2013 determine to be: Specific, Measurable,
Attainable, Action-oriented, Results-oriented, and Time-phased. The New Year's
resolutions of each student of this school are, in fact, goals such as: the
student will do his or her homework in time and sleep in time. The students
take pledges to drink milk and water and will eat at least one fruit and one
vegetable every day and they will never give out personal information such as
my name, home address, school name or telephone number to strangers. They will be
friendly to pupils who need friends - like someone who is shy and will try to
stay in the shade whenever possible will try to find a sport that he likes and
does it, will take care of their health through physical
activity and nutrition, will wipe negative "self talk" out of their vocabulary,
will be nice to their parents, teachers and elders and show respect to them,
will help out in their community - through volunteering, working with community
groups or by joining a group that helps people in need, When feel angry or
stressed out, they will take a break and find constructive ways to deal with
the stress, such as exercising, reading, writing or discussing problem with
parent or teacher, will attend school every day of school year, so they never
have to make up any work.-Govin
