 K.Govindaraju, Director of SEVAI oriented the Child Service Providers on the theme ‘Children should enjoy the qualities of life as rights rather than privileges’. K.Govindaraju further said, “Children’s rights generally includes   Right to Survival, Right to Protection, Right to Participation and  Right to Development. Children have right to health, education, family life, play and recreation, an adequate standard of living and to be protected from abuse and harm. Children's rights cover their developmental and age-appropriate needs that change over time as a child grows up. The children have meticulous rights such as Right to be born, Right to minimum standards of food, shelter and clothing, Right to be protected from all sorts of violence, Right to be protected from neglect, Right to freedom of opinion, Right to education. Children’s rights also includes their right to association with both parents, human identity as well as the basic needs for physical protection, food, universal state-paid education, health care, and criminal laws appropriate for the age and development of the child, equal protection of the child's civil rights, and
