| Students greet their parents, parents bless their children |
SEVAI
Shanthi Matric Higher Secondary School Team has organized "Parents
Blessing Ceremony" on 26,Feb at 7.30 AM, as part of motivational programme
for the 10th, 11th and 12th standards students appearing for Government Board Examinations.
School Teachers and the Parents of students piously participated in ‘blessing
their children’. Mrs.P. Chitra, the Principal of the school appreciated the
parents and students and teachers for this initiative of get-together.Mrs. R.
Kavitha, the Tamil Teacher shared about the importance of Parents blessing for
the all the students. She quoted a well known Tamil verse " Thayir
sirantha..kovilum illai..thanthai soll mikka manthiram illai.", which means mother and father
are the prime god and their words are divine for a child's holistic
development. The parents blessed their children appearing for the public
Examination for their excellent academic performance. The students also paid
respects to their parents in these educational convention blessings with
integrated prayer. -Govin
