Good morning. On behalf of the management, teachers and the students of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, as Principal, I express my appreciation for the excellent work done by ICHEC school team-2020 in School class room with staircase and toilets in our annexure building construction for the past three weeks in group effort with our local construction professionals.SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School  is very grateful for the valuable contribution of ICHEC for the construction of class rooms and also community hall for the School. We, SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School started our journey with ICHEC 10 years back, when the school students’ strength was around 700 students. Currently 1700 students are pursuing their studies in our school. We needed class rooms as the school has to admit more number of rural students from the surrounding villages. Having understood the additional class rooms for the School, ICHEC extended helping hand for the construction of additional class rooms over the years; we are able to admit additional rural

students in our school. We are also incredibly grateful for ICHEC and Smile Foundation for helping in the construction of school Auditorium in our school, this facility is extremely functional for conducting students’ assembly, tutoring students the afterschool program, conducting common examinations, using as the venue for observing the days of importance for School Students etc.  The School Auditorium has really made a difference in our schools’ performance standards. The efforts of ICHEC volunteers are a vital part of our school community. The students of ICHEC -2020 in SEVAI School followed the rules of the schools and interacted with the students, teachers and construction workers. The ICHEC students also visited the native villages of the students of the school and they traveled together with school students in school bus as socialization process with the school community and there is also mutual interactions took place  between ICHEC students and  SEVAI School students”. -Govin
