SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pettavaithalai, was honoured by Trichy Lions Club for its environmental conservation efforts. Students periodically visit SEVAI Natural Resources Management Centre, engaging in tree plantation, Miyawaki Forest visits, organic farming, and biodiversity promotion. On Environmental Protection Day, they participated in an essay competition at school, focusing on eco-balance, biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable living. Winners were honoured by District Forest Officer Ms. Kiruthika, IFS. Principal Mrs. Chitra Balasubramanian promotes agro-forestry, raising saplings in school and homes, fostering environmental stewardship 🌹.
