The sports day celebration in SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school, Petttavaithalai, was a vibrant and energetic event showcasing students' talents and teamwork. Flag hoisting, pigeon release by ICHEC team, and a colourful school parade marked the beginning. Students excelled in track and field events, cultural performances, and competitions, displaying athletic skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Traditional dances, music, and karate performances thrilled the crowd. Mr. Vincent Haurt, ICHEC, gave a special speech as guest of honour, alongside school correspondent Dr. K. Govindaraju. Principal Chitra Balasubramanian welcomed the gathering, and senior teacher Mrs. Meena proposed the vote of thanks. Winners received medals and certificates, making the event a testament to the school's commitment to physical education, teamwork, and sportsmanship 🌟.
