Singapenne team creates Awareness
*Allur, Trichy | 27 July 2026:* Jeeyapuram SI Ms. Jothilakshmi, officer in charge of the Singapenne programme in Trichy District, conducted a safety awareness session for trainees and SHG members of the textile unit at SEVAI Centre, Allur today. She demonstrated basic self-defense techniques, explained the use of helplines 181 and 1098 and the Kavalan SOS app, and spoke on legal rights, cybercrime, trafficking, and workplace safety. Participants took a pledge to _“Abandon fear, stay courageous.”_ SEVAI officials said the drive aims to ensure women in the textile unit are confident, aware, and self-reliant.*Kris
