promotes “Developing Continuing Education for inclusive Community Development”.
The Chairman of South Zone Board of Continuing Education (OZONE), K.Govindaraju
shared his views among the Board members and added, “There is emerging need for
bridging Development of Continuing Education for inclusive Community
Development.
The terms Inclusive community development and continuing Education have been in
use for several decades and refer to different areas within the field of Non-formal
education. There is a relationship between these two Inclusive community
development and continuing Education concepts. Inclusive Community development
work contributes to the development of an overall system of Continuing education
with a more holistic view of education, which acknowledges learning which
values the many and varied ways in which people learn. The need for a more
holistic, integrated approach to meeting the Inclusive educational needs of
those involved in Life Long education, Inclusive community development
and
community regeneration. The voluntary and community sector emphasizes issue‐based and action‐oriented learning within a democratic,
participative culture. There
is a great importance on continuing education, as inclusive growth of people.
It is imperative that continuing education and training systems presented by
the knowledge economy and need to provide an analytical framework for
developing inclusive growth and continuing Education, training system need to
support knowledge-based economic growth, promoting continuing, promoting continuing
Education for people in general and disadvantaged groups in particular for
inclusive community Development. Inclusive Development opens up opportunities
to start with human well-being and designs community economy by reducing poverty
through jobs and quality of life improvement as an overarching priority”.-Kris
