Mrs.Vanitha Palanisamy honoured for her services

Mrs. Vanitha Palanisamy (extreme right in the photo), a dedicated women activist, has been instrumental in empowering women in Rural Trichy and Karur Districts through various initiatives with SEVAI. She has formed and strengthened thousands of women self-help groups, connecting them with government programs and securing support from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Her work focuses on livelihood promotion, bank linkages, capacity building, and advocacy, driving social change and economic independence. Mrs. Vanitha's efforts extend to integrated village development, including dryland development, waterbodies restoration, animal husbandry, tree plantation, and environment conservation, positively impacting women's lives and promoting education.
