Trichy birds park nearing completion of the first year.

Trichy Birds Park, established by the District Rural Development Agency under Namaku Name in collaboration with Trichirapalli District Welfare Fund Committee, is a fantastic spot for nature lovers and families. Located near Kudamurutti Bridge, the park boasts over 40 species of exotic birds, including macaws and cockatoos, spread across 4 acres of land. Visitors can explore themed zones inspired by ancient Tamil landscapes, such as Kurinji, Mullai, and Marutham. The park offers an immersive experience with its walk-in aviary, 7D mini-theatre, Koi Fish Pond, and educational displays on bird species, habitats, and conservation. A playground and cafeteria make it perfect for family outings. Maintained by A.K.Fun Zone, the park is closely monitored by Trichirapalli District Welfare Fund Committee, with revenue share going towards charitable purposes. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, entry fees are ₹200 (adults) and ₹150 (kids). Located on Trichy-Karur Main Road, near Kudamurutti Bridge, 15-20 minutes from central Trichy 🌳. - K.Govindaraju, Treasurer, Custodian, Trichirapalli District Welfare Fund Committee.
