Trichy birds park nearing one year operation, attracts thousands of visitors and kids.




Trichy Birds Park, established by District Rural Development Agency under Namaku Name in collaboration with Trichirapalli District Welfare Fund Committee, is a fantastic spot for nature lovers and families. The park boasts over 40 species of exotic birds, including macaws and cockatoos, across 4 acres. Visitors can explore themed zones inspired by ancient Tamil landscapes, enjoy a walk-in aviary, 7D mini-theatre, Koi Fish Pond, and educational displays. A playground and cafeteria make it perfect for family outings. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, entry fees are ₹200 (adults) and ₹150 (kids). Located near Kudamurutti Bridge, 15-20 minutes from central Trichy 🌳. The park's revenue share, managed by A.K.Fun Zone, goes towards charitable purposes, with ₹25.65 lakh received for January 2026, totaling ₹3.29 crore as per the revised MoU. - K.Govindaraju, Treasurer, Custodian, Trichirapalli District Welfare Fund Committee.
