SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pettavaithalai, celebrated its anniversary on February 13, 2026. The event was presided over by Mrs. Sivagami Sundari, Chairman of Sirugamani Town Panchayat. Mr. Vincent Haurt, ICHEC Housing Director, delivered a heartfelt keynote address, saying, "Once in a year, we are coming to Shanthi School. Why are you coming to Shanthi School? You come here to learn... We come to learn from your kindness, your sense of hospitality, and the way you welcome people you don't know yet!" 😊 He added, "We can make the day a little bit better, with small gestures, done with kindness. That's the kind of lessons we are learning here, from you."

Principal Mrs. Chitra Balasubramanian welcomed the gathering, and the school toppers were honoured with prizes and certificates distributed by ICHEC team members. Over 2300 parents and students participated in the program, enjoying cultural performances by students and ICHEC. Dr. K. Govindaraju, Founder of the school, proposed the vote of thanks, specially thanking ICHEC Business School, Brussels, for their decades-long support in constructing classrooms and community centres 🙏.
