Secondary and Higher Secondary classes’ teachers of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school,an initiative of AEM,Pettavaithlai, Tamilnadu, India  have been honoured as 'inspirational teachers' by the Management of SEVAI.A meeting with students, teachers and management of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation school took place on Friday,1^st June 2013 and recognized  and had shown appreciation for inspirational teachers of the School who worked hard and intelligently to achieve exemplary result of students in Public Examinations held in March \April 2013.The teachers were recognised for their efforts supporting pupils who were successful in their Examinations. Principal of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Pettavaithalai, Mrs.Chitra Balasubramanian presented the Souvenirs to teachers, and said: "It's hard to over-estimate the impact a good teacher can have in encouraging and raising the aspirations of students over the course of their careers. Winning a place at SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school, takes hard work and dedication, and having the support of a committed teacher is for many students what makes the difference in pushing them to apply and make the strongest application they can. I hope this Souvenir will send the message that students and School management recognise how valuable the role of a supportive teacher can be. Now in its fifth year, the Souvenir recognizes the contribution to education made by teachers and outstanding academic results achieved by students.
