Annual Exhibition arranged by students in SEVAI Shanthi Matric.Higher Secondary School to inculcate scientific and creative attitudes among young students’. Science is a powerful way of understanding and investigating the world. Science exhibitions were conducted as they serve as a perfect platform for the students to improve their skills in Science and exhibit their scientific temperament and it promote knowledge of science and technology and develop critical thinking about global issues. Various competitions like elocution, essay writing, quiz, science drama, songs and dance were conducted on this occasion by SEVAI Shanthi Matric.Higher Secondary School. The exhibition revolved around themes like agriculture and Food Security, Energy resources and conservation, Health, Environmental Issues and Disaster Management etc.SEVAI Shanthi Matric.Higher Secondary School students arranged enthusiastically the Annual Exhibition, focused on ingraining a scientific and creative attitude among young students the school and to make them comprehend the interdependence of science, technology and society by a hand- on experience. The exhibition engaged children and teachers to synergies experiences and motivate each other to design and develop something novel. became a celebration of science as little scientists furiously beckoned visitors to stop by and visit their discoveries. Green energy named the theme for the Physics exhibition; several interesting models were displayed at all levels. Wind mills, solar cars, solar houses, light-sensitive devices, etc. Several live activities were also performed by students some of which were the working of the, efficiency and strength of frictional force, pressure exerted by water, atmospheric pressure etc. All the working models and activities were highly appreciated by the visitors as amply received in remarks left behind. The theme Green energy entailed most of the exhibits being based on harnessing natural resources as potential energy producers. The students demonstrated an innovative way to make homemade non-toxic cleaning solutions, a great success with both parents and students. Biogas is one of the most promising fuels in this day of depleting resources. Students constructed a model bio-gas plant showing how easy it is to produce renewable energy resources. The comfortable atmosphere and amicable staff provided a homely ambiance. This event brought added widespread recognition and goodwill for the school.-Govin
