SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school, Pettavaithalai, students recently visited the Natural Resources Management centre, and it was a truly enriching experience.! The students gained hands-on insights into tree species, organic farming, and botany, sparking curiosity and promoting environmental awareness.
*What they learned:*
- Different tree types, their uses, and importance in the ecosystem
- Sustainable farming practices, composting, and eco-friendly methods
- Plant anatomy, physiology, and the role of plants in the environment.
The students were thrilled to share their experience: "Our visit was super cool . We learned about tree species and their uses, saw the organic farm, and even planted a tree . Our teacher made everything interesting and knowledgeable . It was amazing to see plants used in medicine and other ways."
