SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary school in Pettavaithalai celebrated Thiruvalluvar Pongal Day on January 21, 2026, focusing on Agro Forestry and environmental conservation. The event featured street plays, cultural performances, tree plantation drives, and Uri Adi, engaging students, staff, and parents from the farming community. Padmasri Marachi Subburaman appreciated the students' initiative, while Mrs. Rajeswari Subburaman came forward to onboard the Agro Forestry project being carried out by Green India-SEVAI in Kulitalai Block. Principal Mrs. Chitra Balasubramanian welcomed the gathering, and Mrs. C. Sudha, Additional Director, distributed prizes. Dr. K.
