‘The 108 free ambulance services is a life saver'

Trichy: 10: April: Dr.K.Govindaraju, a social organisation team leader said ‘The 108 free ambulance services is a life saver and we thank the Tamilnadu Government for saving my son’s life by the timely first aid and facilitating admission in a hospital within half an hour of a major road accident. A rash driven car in a service road of National Highway hit my son’s two wheeler and smashed my son’s vehicle, he was thrown away. I am thankful to the public for making phone call atonce to 108 Ambulance and we admitted him in the hospital where he was given treatment and undertaken surgery without major loss of blood. ‘The 108 free ambulance services had also resulted in reduction of fatal several cases which we we used to hear many occasions. I also thank the committed workforce and technical staffers in the emergency services. The ‘108’ ambulance services had become as a boon to the needy in the event of emergencies. ’’-Kris
