District Youth Convention and Capacity Building seminar organized by Trichy Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.

Trichy: August 21: A District Youth Convention & Capacity Building for Social Sector Programme was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Trichirappalli on 21st August 2011 at Trichy District Welfare Committee conference Hall. Sri. M Sadacharaval, State Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Tamilnadu and Puducherry presided over the inaugural function. Speaking to the occasion, Sri. M Sadacharaval highlighted some of the youth activities of NYKS, which has carved its identity in the sector of youth and village development. He urged upon the gathered youth to work towards communal harmony and motivate others for the same, as it would not only help them but also the society at large for a vital cause of nation building. Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan tried to motivate the gathered congregation of youths to use their collective strength positively in social development sector. Sri. M Sadacharaval delivered the message of universal brotherhood for the youth, as we all now believed in global citizenship. The Director also appreciated the congregation of youth from all over Trichy district with the youthful vitality, energy and commitment to Nation building activities from micro levels. He further said that while this sense of historic solidarity only underlines the great diversity that has made India what it is today, we must always be vigilant in safeguarding our unique and vibrant diversity. It is necessary to continuously ensure that the various communities that make up the mosaic of India live together in peace and harmony.  Trichy Distrct Youth Coordinator of NYKS, Trichy, Sri K.Subramanian, welcomed, anchored and conducted the programme.  Sri K.Subramanian mentioned in his welcome address that India signifies a unique example of unity with an underlying diversity of culture, religion and beliefs. Youth constitute nearly 40 percent of the country’s population and they are the most resourceful segment of the nation. Nehru Yuvak Kendra Sangathan is so actively involved in mobalising the energy, the resources and the youthful enthusiasm of our youth. Their commitment to community service, national integration and humanism provides the foundation of youth character. Dr.K.Govindaraju, Chairman of South Zone of Continuing Education mentioned that the spiritual development of youth consists of economical, social as well as cultural development of any community. He insisted that spirituality is the highest order of all social developments as per our spiritual leaders. He cited the famous quotation of Swami Vivekananda and said, "Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is achieved". He said that the nature has made the human being mentally more powerful than other living creature and the strength is a human being can concentrate on anything or subject and none else can do it. He cited the example of Anna Hazarea’s efforts in eliminating corruption in India. It is good that youth of the nation also give their support to Anna Hazarea for Jan Local with emotional integration, but needs to be educated with Intelligence quotient for the mode for an effective implementation of the said Jan Lokpal.Shri..Kandasamy, District Manager, District Industries Centre, Trichy, Shri.M.Thersnathan, Deputy Director, PIB-Chennai and Prof.Raj delivered the thematic address.Adviory committee members of Trichy Nehru Yuva Kendra Mrs.Rajamani Muthusamy, Shri.Nallendran felicitated. Shri.Maheswaran proposed vote of thanks. Earlier, floral tributes were paid  to mark the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi as the part of the Sadbhavana celebrations. Sports materials have been distributed to youth club members by the State Director. The member of the Parliament, Trichy Shri.P.Kumar visited the seminar and blessed the organizers and left urgently for joining another program with a State Minister.-Govin
