“Create a positive attitude to score good marks” said Dr.K.Govindaraju, an educationist to students of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Trichirapalli District of Tamilnadu, India. In a seminar organized by the School recently, Dr.K.Govindaraju, mentioned that “School can be a challenge to many students. The pupils are to know some key tips to improve their marks and do well in school. If the students create a good attitude in studying and think positive things about studying, it’s likely that they will start liking a subject that they were really not fond of before; the students may also get marks for good attitude and for not disrupting a class. The students are to utilize time between two class room teachings to revise portion thought already, to spend two to three hours in the evening to study one day’s topics and to find time in the weekend to revise the portions studied in the last week. The more you revise something, the more time it will be stored in students’ brain. The important step you have to do is to spend some time in the evening to revise the portion discussed in that day. Two to three hour may be enough to complete the home assignments given by your teacher and to revise the portion discussed in one day. Continue this every day. In the final step, you have to find some time in the weekends to revise the portions studied in last one week. Spend three to four hour time in Sunday for this purpose. Remember, the more you revise something, the more time it will be stored in your brain. Now you don’t have to spend more time during exams. You have already revised the portions two to three times; you will not take much time to recollect everything. The main key point in the exams is hand writing. If hand writing is good then no problem if not then try to write the words clearly and make sure to keep space gap between each word. Try to avoid making mistakes as the evaluator should not get irritated with your paper. Another key point is presentation. It plays vital role in evaluation, along with neat hand writing presentation is also important. Try to write in a point wise manner and write them correctly. Another important point is diagrams. Most of the subjects in all branches have diagrams, so draw the diagram first before writing the theory part. We cannot expect how the question paper comes. Sometimes students who prepares well will also unable to answer the questions. But don’t fear here are some tips, If you don’t know any of the questions or if you are seeing that type of questions first time just read the question carefully you will find some known words from that question try to write answer on those words as much as possible, The answer should be written as expected with neat and clear handwriting”.-Govin
