The Pupils of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pettavaithalai contribute Rs.15060 for the purchase of flood relief materials to Kerala flood victims. Kerala was struggling with floods with intense rain throughout the state for around two weeks. At many places, people are forced to remain in relief camps at Schools, College and Community halls etc, food and medical assistance are being supplied by district administration / NGO / public  / others for survival.  Alapuzha and Ernakulam districts are

being seriously affected bringing down houses and uprooting coconut palms. Also, these districts continued to be submerged, many of the  members are badly affected. The Pupils representatives of SEVAI Shanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School collected Rs.15060 from their parents and handed over to the Head Mistress of the School. At the advice of School education authorities, the school masters purchased Blankets and Bed sheets from Co-optex for this amount and handed over the same to School Education Department.
