The Farmers' Market in Annanagar, Thenur, Trichy, was inaugurated in 1999 by the late Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Union Minister Rangarajan Kumaramangalam, State Ministers Arcot Veerasamy and K.N. Nehru, and Mrs. Dhayalu Ammal.
During the visit, the dignitaries inspected the Farmers' Office, constructed and contributed by SEVAI. District Collector V. Murthy IAS, explained the salient features of the building, which was constructed using cost-effective technology.
K. Govindaraju, Director of SEVAI, was also present.
Hon'ble Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi appreciated SEVAI for its initiative and contribution to the project, acknowledging the organization's efforts in promoting sustainable development 🌹.
