OFI functionaries Mr. Krishna and Mr. Emanual congratulated Dr. K. Govindaraju, Director/Founder of SEVAI, on receiving the Outstanding Organisation Award from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 2025..
The award recognizes SEVAI's outstanding services to women and comprehensive development projects. Dr. Govindaraju shared the award citation and a cheque for Rs. 50,000 with OFI functionaries, thanking them for their support.
SEVAI's initiatives, such as empowering women through SHG movements, revitalizing waterbodies, and promoting organic farming, have made a significant impact .
Dr. Govindaraju highlighted the importance of women-led water management committees, water literacy programs, and rainwater harvesting initiatives.
